A group of five young changemakers wanted to make a difference to others in need with their KEY+ project and so they chose to deliver a kindness project to support female victims of violence and children living in deprivation.

They searched for information about what items they would need, found prices, and worked out how many packs they could create with their budget. They used negotiation and communication skills to make decisions as a group and shared the roles and responsibilities to make sure they were ready to pitch to panel.

Flower Power went on to buy their hygiene care pack items including cotton buds, sanitary items, and vouchers. They also scoured the internet to get the best deals on crayons, finger puppets and more for the child friendly packs.

The group had a great time and loved being able to transform the lives of others through their own KEY+ social action projects.
