What is The Key to Find Your Spark?
How is The Key to Find Your Spark different from the KEY+ Challenge?
KEY+ gives you the chance to take on any project you like - from a team challenge to a fundraising event. Find Your Spark helps you focus on the things you're really interested in, so you can discover what makes you excited and happy. Whether it's music, creative arts, sports, or something else, it's all about exploring your passions and having fun while learning new skills.
What kind of activities can my group do?

Once you have completed your first project.
Who applies, me or my supporting organisation?
You - The Key will advertise the bursary opportunity to all those who have taken part in a Find Your Spark project and make the online application form available to you.
How much can I get from the bursary and what can I apply for?
The bursary offers up to £500 per young person to help them continue exploring and developing their passion beyond the initial project. This funding can be used for materials, training, experiences, equipment, or other resources that meaningfully support their progression.
Can I apply for the bursary more than once?
Yes, you can apply for the bursary more than once, but first time applicants are given priority when decisions are made.
What sort of support do you get alongside the bursary?
If you're part of the bursary you will also have access to 121 coaching from The Key, to help you make the most of the opportunity and to support you in your future goals.
Do I need to complete Stage 1 before applying for the bursary?
Yes, the bursary is there to help you continue exploring and developing your passion beyond the initial project.
